Asia's richest man, Jack Ma is in Kenya. The founder and executive chairman of e-commerce platform Alibaba is in Kenya on a two-day visit. During an event where he was speaking to young entrepreneurs, Ma offered youth tips on how to build successful business empires.
Ma is accompanied by a large delegation of super-rich Chinese. Among these delegates are China’s richest billionaires: Internet tycoon Bob Xu, Alibaba’s founding partner Lucy Peng, founder and chairman of Mengniu Dairy Niu Gensheng and real estate tycoon Huang Youlong.
On his first visit to the continent, he told his audience the key to a successful business - you need to make sure your customers are successful.
These are some of the comments from Kenyans on Twitter.
