Stream your drone footage with these goggles

The new DJI Goggle allows users to stream Drone footage in real time.

Drone technology has revolutionised the way we see our world with boundary-pushing technology that opens up the sky to consumers, enthusiasts and professionals alike. Innovations science and technology company DJI has launched their newest innovations, the DJI Goggles.

The Goggles are available online from weFix, they allow users to stream their drone's footage in real-time and control the drone by moving their head.

The DJI Goggles are compatible with all the latest DJI drones meaning that it works seamlessly with the Phantom 3 Advanced, Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Advanced, Inspire 2 and the compact Mavic Pro. The headset connects wirelessly with the Mavic Pro and for the older models, an HDMI cable simply connects to the controller. On the left, there is heat vent, a small speaker and a secured area with slots for HDMI, 3.5mm jack, and a micro SD card.

Other features of the Goggles include a touchpad with multi-touch functionality used to navigate the menus and perform quick order tasks such as setting flight modes, selecting objects to be tracked and switching viewing options.

Two different motion control features:
Motion Controlled Flight
Allows users to take full control of the drone by tilting their head. The rotation is well-versed eliminating the First-Person View (FPV) drop sensation that occurs with other VR headsets.

Motion Controlled Gimbal
In this mode, users can only control the gimbal and not the actual drone. The rotation happens in real time and is fully intuitive. The all new Fixed Wing Mode enables the drone to fly at a constant speed towards a point you select.

The ergonomically designed goggles have a fully adjustable interpupillary distance of the lenses and six hours of operation on one charge.

Additionally, the DJI Goggles can connect to external devices for videos or gaming. You can simply plug the HDMI into your TV for the most immersive FPV vantage point.

The DJI Goggles are now available for pre-order from weFix for R 9 699.00.
