An ICT manager at the Kenyan Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) , Christopher Musando has been found dead just days after he was reported missing.
Musando was one of the few people with crucial information on IEBC election preparedness and technology, including knowledge on the location of the commission’s servers.
The director's body was found hours after his vehicle was found behind Thika Road Mall, off the Thika Superhighway in Nairobi. Musando was reported missing by the elections body on Sunday, 30 July. A statement by IEBS chair, Wafula Chebukati, said Chris Musando was last seen on Friday night. ‘The last communication from him is an SMS text sent to one of his colleagues at around 3.00 am on Saturday morning,’
