Instagram's Rich List- Top 10 Earners Revealed

As with all social media platforms, Instagram has become an extremely profitable platform for celebrities and influencers to monetise their brand by leveraging their reach and followers to charge exorbitant amounts of money for promotional posts.

So this begs the question, just how much do these top celebs/influencers charge for promotional post? The answer is- a lot!

HopperHQ, the Instagram scheduling tool, analysed their internal data and public information and compiled a list of the top 10 earners on Instagram.

Here are the Top 10 in the 2017 Instagram rich list:

10) Lebron James : Professional Basketball player, Lebron James, plays for the Clevland Cavaliers in the NBA. This famous sports star has 30.7 million followers and charges $120,000 per post. James is 10th on the Instagram rich list.

9) Gigi Hadid : This famous American supermodel has 34.7 million followers on Instagram. Hadid charges a staggering $120,000 per post on the social media platform seeing her ranked as the 9th highest earner on this list.

8) Cara Delevingne : English model and actress, Cara Delevinge, has amassed a following 40.4 million people on Instagram. Sitting at number 8 on this list, Delevingne charges $150,000 per post.

7) Kourtney Kardashian : What would an Instagram rich list be without the Kardashians. Kourtney Kardashian, the oldest of the Kardashian sister has 57.8 million followers and charges $250,000 per post, seeing her ranked 7th on this list.

6) Khloe Kardashian : The next Kardashian on this list is Khloe. The famous reality tv star and business woman has 68 million followers. Ranked 6th on this list, Khloe charges $250,000 per post.

5) Kendall Jenner  : So her surname might not be Kardashian but everything else about her is. Kendall Jenner a model and tv personality has amassed 81.7 million followers and charges $370,000 per post, seeing her ranked 5th on this Instagram rich list.

4) Kylie Jenner  : The youngest of the Kardashian clan, Kylie aged just 19 has leveraged her social media presence to gather 95 million followers on Instagram. Ranked 4th on this list, Kylie charges a mouthwatering $400,000 per post on the social media platform.

3) Cristiano Ronaldo  : The world's richest athlete, Cristiano Ronaldo, plays professional football for Real Madrid and the Portuguese National team. The former Manchester United player has 104 million followers which he uses to charge $400,000 per post.

2) Kim Kardashian : The most famous of the Kardashian's, Kim, naturally sees herself ranked on the top end of the Instagram rich list. A reality tv star and successful business women, Kim has used her fame to reach 100 million followers on the platform and charges a staggering $500,000 per post.

1) Selena Gomez : Famous American singer and actress, Selena Gomez is the most followed person on Instagram with 122 million followers. The 24-year-old tops the Instagram rich list by charging an astounding $550,000 per post.
