Samsung South Africa unveiled its 2024 TV and sound device portfolio at the Unbox & Discover at the Samsung Experience Store in Johannesburg’s Design Quarter.
The newest Neo QLED 8K and 4K TVs, OLED TVs, and state-of-the-art audio equipment were on display during the event. With a variety of potent, AI-driven products, Samsung, the world’s top TV maker for 18 years running, enhances the home entertainment experience at this year’s exhibition.
“We are expanding the limits of home entertainment by incorporating AI to transcend traditional viewing experiences,” said Mike van Lier, Vice President of Consumer Electronics at Samsung South Africa. “This year’s TV lineup showcases our dedication to innovation, delivering products that not only offer premium viewing quality but also significantly enrich our consumers’ lifestyles.”
Samsung is introducing the world’s first glare-free OLED, eliminating unnecessary reflection while preserving deep blacks and clear images under any lighting condition. Powered by the same formidable NQ4 AI Gen2 processor as the Neo QLED 4K line-up, Samsung’s OLED TVs boast features like the Real Depth Enhancer and OLED HDR Pro, bringing picture quality to new heights.
Samsung Music Frame, an artistic design that draws inspiration from The Frame, along with their TV selection. This multipurpose gadget lets users enjoy wireless music and intelligent functions while showcasing their own photos or artwork. The Music Frame promises to enhance audio quality and elevate the aesthetic appeal of any room, whether used independently or in conjunction with a TV and soundbar.
The Music Frame will launch in South Africa in July 2024. Pre-orders for Samsung’s AI-enabled TVs are now open.
