Public beta of Red Dead Online set to launch later this month
An open public beta for the online multiplayer version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be launching later this month.
CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, confirmed this but couldn’t provide any additional details in terms of a time or date.
With Red Dead Redemption 2 having shipped over 17 million units since its launch, surpassing the original game, there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that Red Dead Online will have an established audience when it does launch. According to Polygon‘s math, the company sold more copies of the game in eight days than it sold of the original Red Dead Redemption during its first eight years.

No rumours surrounding the gameplay have been officially confirmed, except that players will be able to go solo in the open world.
