At Google’s hardware event yesterday, 9 October, their Senior VP of Hardware, Rick Osterloh, announced the new Pixel Slate, a combination laptop and tablet.
The Pixel Slate is the first of Google’s tablet devices to feature its Chrome OS. Some of its other features include dual front-facing speakers and a 293 ppi display, 8MP front- and rear-facing cameras, a fingerprint sensor, and Intel Processors that range from Celeron to Gen i7 dependant on the price of the devices.
The Pixel Slate will be made available later this year.
