Prenolan Naidoo and Brandon Mncube join various Visa Sub-Saharan Africa divisions.
Visa has announced the appointment of two new members to its Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) team. Prenolan Naidoo and Brandon Mncube join various Visa SSA divisions, and both appointees will be based in South Africa.
Prenolan Naidoo joined Visa SSA earlier this month as a Director in the SSA team, as part of the CEMEA VCA team. Naidoo joins the team from Nedbank, one of South Africa’s leading banks, where he held the position of Senior Business Analyst. Naidoo has over a decade of retail banking experience, primarily in the card and payments environment across both issuing and acquiring.
Whilst at Nedbank he successfully fulfilled a number of roles that exposed him to product management, analytics, operations and business strategy. Prior to this, he spent several years within the engineering industry having been employed by SAB Miller, Kimberly Clarke and South Africa’s Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
In his new role at Visa, Naidoo is tasked with delivering consulting support to Visa’s key clients cross the Sub-Saharan Africa markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Natal, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of the Witswatersrand.
Brandon Mncube has been welcomed to the Visa team as Marketing Director: Digital for Sub-Sahara Africa and joins from Pepsico Africa where he was Digital Marketing Head for Sub-Sahara Africa.
With over 12-years’ experience of digital marketing experience from agency and client-side environments, Mncube has worked in banking, FMCG and technology brands; and worked across Sub-Sahara for brands such as MultiChoice, Absa, Nedbank, Simba and Philips.
