Ryan Williams named new CEO of Ster-Kinekor

On Thursday 1 February 2018, Ster-Kinekor, a South African based entertainment and video game distributor, announced that Ryan Williams has been appointed as the new CEO of Ster-Kinekor Theatres.

Williams, the current CEO of Primedia Unlimited, will take over as CEO as of 1 February 2018, revealed Ster-Kinekor.

“Williams started working at the Primedia Group at Ster-Kinekor Theatres in 2012 and was instrumental in turning the Cinemark advertising business around. Williams has held several positions within the Primedia Group and in addition to first-hand experience within Ster-Kinekor Theatres, he has a strong track record in the media industry,” said the company.

Williams will be replacing former Ster-Kinekor Theatres CEO Wanda Matandela who now heads up the enterprise business unit of South African telecommunication company, MTN.
