Citrix Synergy 2016 has come to an end; however, Citrix made some major announcements at the event, which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States of America.
At the event, Citrix revealed that it will be placing a major focus on Digital Business Transformation. In addition to this announcement, Citrix also unveiled an expansion of their strategic partnership with Microsoft to meet the needs of the modern workforce with application and desktop virtualization in the cloud, network delivery and enterprise mobility management space.
During the keynote session, CEO of Citrix and Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, revealed that Citrix had selected Microsoft Azure as its preferred and strategic cloud for its future roadmap.
To add to the news, Citrix unveiled its Cloud-first Innovations at Citrix Synergy 2016.
