Gartner Symposium 2017: Jeffrey Mann discusses Gartner’s aspiring innovator programme.
As revealed by Gartner, the goal of the Aspiring Innovator Programme is to both support the African startup technology community, as well as provide delegates access to exciting new local technology providers.
Selected by a team of Gartner research analysts, the startup companies have the opportunity to profile their solutions in front of an audience who are actively looking for new partners and solutions. The Aspiring Innovators are also afforded a chance to engage one-on-one with senior IT decision-makers who visit their stands.
At the 2017 Gartner Symposium, which was held in Cape Town at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, IT News Africa spoke to Jeff Mann regarding Gartner’s Aspiring Innovator Programme. Mann is a Research Vice President at Gartner Research. Mann focuses on social software, team workspaces, the collaboration market, file sharing and sync, cloud-based collaboration platforms and user policies and adoption.
